First of all you should apply, get approved and receive your Chase credit card. Once you have your Chase card you can request a balance transfer. The total amount of balance transfer cannot exceed your available credit. Don’t forget about balance transfer fees. Chase charges a balance transfer fee that can be $0 or 3% of amount of each transfer depending on the credit card terms. The whole process of opening a new account with Chase and transferring a balance may take up to three weeks.
Note that balance transfers between Chase issued credit cards are impossible.
