Juniper Bank was acquired by Barclays Bank back in 2004, with a name change to Barclaycard. In spite of the acquisition, there are still several Juniper credit cards released by Barclaycard.

Juniper partners with different companies for the plastic cards that it offers its clients. Most of the time, the credit cards do not display the brand name, Juniper. Rather, the cards display the partner of the bank. These partners include ATA Airlines, AirTran Airways, Best Western, Buckmasters, Carnival Sea Miles, Century 21 establishments, Orbitz, RaceTrac, and Travelocity.

These several partnerships are beneficial for customers, giving them more options to choose from. With competitive rates provided on the different Juniper credit card offers, clients can enjoy more rewards from the bank affiliates and partners.

Juniper allows its customers to take more direct control of their finances. When you log on to your online account, you can download all existing account statements in your file. With this feature, you can assess your account statements and study where your money is going, how you are spending your money, and to whom your money is going to. This feature gives more control over your financial feature.

Juniper also provides its clients with account alerts, such as Approaching Credit Limit alerts and Credit Card Payment Due alerts. With these alerts, you can better prepare and secure your funds. This also helps prevent being charged with over-the-limit fees, late fees, and other forms of delinquent payment fees.

One of the cards offered by Juniper is Casey Platinum MasterCard. Released to the market with an introductory period of 6 months, the APR or annual percentage rate for this card is 15.24%. This card does not impose annual fees as well. Another example of the Juniper credit card is the Clark Platinum MasterCard. Still with 6 months for its introductory period, the APR for this card is pegged at 16.24%.

Juniper also charges several fees according to several bases. APR fees, for instance, are charged based on the customer credit history. It reviews the credit performance of its customers periodically and then charges APR fees accordingly.

Juniper also charges transaction charges. These charges include those for balance transfers, convenience checks, cash advances, late payments, over the credit line charges, return checks, and more.

Monthly fees are also charged, where clients are required to pay a certain fee for the use of the card. Late fees are also charged when payments are not made on or before due dates.
