Match PNC Credit Card to Your Lifestyle

PNC credit card services currently offer three different cards, all geared towards rewarding people who currently hold PNC checking accounts. The three cards - the PNC Cashbuilder card, PNC Flex credit card, and PNC points Visa - all carry the Visa logo and are financed through the PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. Each card carries a different main perk to appeal to your individual needs.

Each PNC Bank credit card differs slightly in rates, with the PNC Flex Visa carrying the lowest APR and Cashbuilder VISA carrying the highest. The fees for each card regarding late or returned payments and foreign transactions are the same, but that's as similar as these cards get.

The Cashbuilder is the PNC VISA Credit Card you're looking for if you'd like to focus on earning cash back with each of your purchases. The least amount back you'll net is 1.25% for less than $2,000 in purchases, regardless of the type of purchase. That is already more than a lot of cash back programs. But the more you spend the more you earn, up to 1.75% back.

Even if you can't meet the minimum purchase requirements, you can still earn 1.5% or 1.75% back if you have a qualifying deposit account with PNC and maintain a minimum average monthly balance. You can start redeeming your earned cash when you've acquired as little as $50.

If cash back isn't your thing, you'll be glad to know the PNC Points VISA offers a system where you can redeem points for merchandise, electronics, gift cards, travel, and more. If you do ever get hungry for money, cash is still a reward option. The card allows you to gain four points for every dollar spent on qualifying purchases, with the ability to earn more if you meet your minimum balance or certain deposit requirements.

Last but not least, for those of you who frequently maintain a balance on your credit card, the PNC Flex Visa will allow you to save on interest by offering a lower balance transfer rate. You'll also still be enrolled in the PNC Points program and earn the same 4 points per dollar as the PNC points VISA.

Whether you want a new stereo, a cruise, or just cold hard cash back, the PNC Credit Cards have something for everyone. With two financial powerhouses backing your purchases - PNC and VISA - you can start earning back without a worry in the world.
